Hi, I'm Meg!
I started my business, Kraken Locs, in April 2021 after completing an online course. During this course, I learnt everything I needed to know in order to create healthy, beautiful dreadlocks in a safe and product-free way. That's right, all I use is a comb and a crochet hook!
Although my business is still very young, I have managed to gather a great clientele, and it's thanks to them that I've been able to quit my main job to focus on dreadlocks, and move to Exeter!
I am fully mobile within the South West UK.

Dreadlock Creation
I create dreadlocks with your own hair, using no wax, gels or other nasty products.
The crochet method I use is safe and natural, giving you the best start to your dreadlock journey!

Extensions Installation
Whether you have ordered extensions from me, or bought them elsewhere, I can install them for you so they are permanently locked into your own hair.

Synthetics Installation
Your hair is braided around the synthetic dreadlock and secured with thread. You can keep them in for around 8 weeks at a time.
I make synthetic sets, or you can buy them online and I'll install them for you.

If your dreadlocks are looking a little messy, you have some loose hair at the root, or you need some major repair work doing. I can help!
